To apply, you’ll need to fill out an online application and submit it by the deadline. You’ll also need to provide transcripts, a personal essay, and letters of recommendation.
Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed by a committee who will decide if you are awarded the scholarship. If you are selected, you will be notified by email.
What are my chances of getting an award?
The Oberkotter Family Foundation offers scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need.
The amount of the award is based on the student’s ability to pay for their education, as well as their academic achievement. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to apply early.
The Foundation does not release statistics on the number of applicants or the average award amount, so it’s difficult to say what your chances are of receiving an award.
However, if you are a qualified student with financial need, you should definitely apply for this scholarship.
How will I know if I have been awarded a scholarship?
If you have been awarded a scholarship, you will receive an email notification from the Oberkotter Family Foundation. This email will include information on how to claim your scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year. However, the majority of scholarships are awarded in May and June. How much money will I receive?
If I receive an award, when will it be disbursed?
If you are selected as a recipient, the Oberkotter Family Foundation will notify you of the award amount and disbursement schedule.
Funds are typically disbursed in two installments, with the first installment being paid out at the beginning of the academic year and the second installment being paid out midway through the academic year.
However, if you are attending a school that operates on a quarter or semester system, the foundation will work with your school to determine the best disbursement schedule for you.
Can I apply for other scholarships if I am already applying for the OFFP Scholarship?
Yes, you can apply for other scholarships. The Oberkotter Family Foundation awards scholarships to students who have demonstrated financial need. This award is for students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.
